It'll straight bolt on and wont ride like s***. I'm sure it wouldn't matter to the dealers. Coupe and sedan have the same struts. Just valved differently for different springs

Re: Z-Tube

I just tried a Z-Tube from a 03-04 G35 on my 07 M35. The vacuum line is way off. [Yellow Highlight] M35 line comes joins at the top, about 4" from the end. G35 is about 8' from the end and on the bottom. You could possibly force the existing one into place or add an extension an reroute it. Mounting bracket [Red Highlight] also doesn't line up.

Anyone else have any luck with this? Did I give up too soon?

When I had my ztube, it lined up properly...no issues, if I remember, I just ran the hose to the bottom without any extensions. I had an OEM Ztube....

the side by side picture of the stock vs Ztube inside of this thread is from my set up when I swapped out the stock M35 intake tube for the OEM Ztube...you can see where the hose is connected to the Ztube (at the bottom).... no issues.

Will aftermarket High Flow Cats (HFC) meant for the 03-06 G35 coupe fit directly with my 2007 M35 with VQ35DE motor?

I'm looking at Fast Intentions resonated HFC because of their reduced sound and smell.

didn't you just buy the Berk HFC from someone in the other forums?

Nope didn't buy any HFC, just inquired about pricing. I was about to purchase the FI HFC but they won't sell to CA residents because of CARB regulations.

so my understanding is that any HFC or test pipe for the VQDE35 engine will bolt right up. I know people here have used Berk and Kenetic. If you look online, you can see there are tons of options. I'm considering a new pair from Megan because they're like 150 brand new. However if i can find a good used BERK, i will most likely buy that as they have the original holes for the bracket.

the bracket in question is the U-Shape underneath the car where it bolted on to the side of the HFC. the cat itself has three bolts on either end to attach itself to the Y-pipe and the Exhaust Manifold.

I'm debating on Berk but the price is a little high. So my main concern would be how the bracket and holes line up?

Does a M35x rear diff fit a 03 350z? Has the same part number on the housing just curious.

Also, does the M35x have a VLSD in the rear? Thank you guys.

Hey guys, I know this is a super old thread but I have an 06 M35x in need of new front cv axles for both sides. Went to replace wheel hub and had a grease mess. Sure enough, both inner boots are cracked. I'm thinking just replace the whole axle(s) for fear of debris in the joints. I'm finding a better deal on G model axles.. can anyone confirm if any are interchangeable??

AWD btw

For now I degreased the outside of the old boots, sealed cracks with red rtv, & filled with valvoline synthetic high temp.. crossing my fingers this will get me by till I get new axles. No clicking so hopefully the cvs didnt get too much damage. No idea how long they've been cracked.
