the guy that's answering the email might not even know what the parts look like. they're just going with what the catalog is telling them. it's like 170$ on ebay and if it doesn't fit, you can always make it fit. it'll be nice if you can test but i understand the reluctant as no one wants to be a lab rat.

Yeah, im not going to spend $170+ dollars on a part that "might" fit my car. this sucks, dont you hate when u need something for your car and you cant find what your looking for, at a reasonable price. i really hope someone can chime in on this who knows exactly whats compatible with our X models. maybe ill call the parts department tomorow

fwiw, the fx35/45 parts specifically exhaust parts bolt right up. that's what other member here has said.also if you look at the part numbers, they're 1 to 1

yes, but im not looking to go custom. basic bolt on application is what i want, without paying $400 for oem. twizz has a used one from a 2007 im going to check out, if the flanges are in good shape. opinions on putting a used y-pipe in?

The 350z conversion is on the back burner for me for right now. I broke one of my G37s wheels, so now I'm in the process of trying to find a single rear rim. It sucks one rear rim on eBay is going for what I paid for the set...

Right now I have the spare on, my stock M wheels have no tires on them right now. I'm having such a hard time sourcing just one rear rim.

Those who used 350z berk hfc on the m35, are you using 03-07 350z berk part? Does anyone know if it's going to be an issue to use it on the m35x ?

i have hfc's and they are 03-07 350z. i have rwd so i do not know..

Also. I swapped in some tein h-techs from a 350z and it worked just fine. even made the car ride a lil softer compared to sport suspension
so yes!
350z/g35 springs fit.

HOWEVER.. the front shocks do not fit at all the lower bracket that goes to the lower control arm in not deep enough

Is it just the angle of the driveway or is the front sitting higher than the rear on the 350z springs? Or am I misreading and you only put the rears on?

could be two fold considering the driveway is at an angle. but it is pretty level if you look at bottom of sideskirt on level ground. just gotta remember that the M's rear fender is a lot lower than the front fender

I just put a set of used stock 2003 350Z headers on my 2006 M35 to get my car smogged. Stupid CARB rules.

Now I have a set of Alpha werks headers for sale haha

Not all exhaust parts...so far, the parts that I've personally fit on my car would be:

G35 High Flow Cats and Stock cats (fits for the VQ35DE motors)
G35 Ypipe (VQDE)
Ypipe (HR) * I currently have an HR Ypipe from a 2012 G37 installed with my Megan Mids/axle backs.
(I bought the HR ypipe for $100. on a G forum - new condition since the guy did a full exhaust swap when he bought his car)

The HR ypipe greatly increased the low end and mid range tq. I've since removed and sold my Motordyne xyz pipe. The difference that I've noticed is that the HR ypipe is better in the low end/mid range whereas the MD xyz pipe was better at the top end.

It'll fit, but the strut isnt doesn't have the rebound of a m45s. The spring from a m45s would be much stiffer so the rebound wont match up

So the ride will be kinda crappy then? I'm just trying to put car back to stock to trade to dealer not really concerned about how smooth it rides. So it should bolt on?

Also the shocks and struts are from g35 coupe sport if that's makes difference. Should be valid little stiffer. No?
