M30 power window problem

The rear driver side window wont go down. I tore into it and cannot even see the pw motor. Where the heck is it and how do I get it out to test it? I an hear a click, but nothing.

Also, is a 240SX the same motor? I do a search on car-part.com and it comes up with M30 and 240SX window motors.

The problem is most likely the window regulator not the motor.

Where is that located? My manual is for an M30 hardtop, not the vert so thusly doesn't show shi* about rear power windows:mad:

The regulator is the frame that raises and lowers the window which is powered by the motor. These do fail in the J30 as well.

I just saw a bunch of motor/regulator combo's on ebay. If you can't hear the motor, then it has to be replaced. If you can then it's your regulator. Anyways, they're going for around $40 so I would go one there first.
