Haha, try reading some time. It helps prevent stupid comments.CourtesyBullet wrote:Honestly when you buy something as expensive as an EVO you shouldn't have an engine swap on your mind. Big points for creativity but otherwise I think that's pretty pointless.
I really wouldn't call an Evo expensive.CourtesyBullet wrote:Honestly when you buy something as expensive as an EVO you shouldn't have an engine swap on your mind. Big points for creativity but otherwise I think that's pretty pointless.
Do you have an extra $30,000 lying around?MinisterofDOOM wrote:

Yeah like a camaro or better yet how about a corvetteMinisterofDOOM wrote:

I don't really see the point, either, but not quite for the same reason as everyone else here. I don't see why you'd waste an LS1 on an Evo. There are plenty of decent cars you could put it in.
Believe it or not, some people do things just because they haven't been done. When Nikola Tesla was working on AC electricity, Edison called him an ******* (i'm paraphrasing )Either way, i know that's way off subject and not really the same, i just think it's stupid for anyone to argue over the validity of this swap.CourtesyBullet wrote:I read the whole thing. Just because a 30k car is in a fire doesn't mean that it's a good idea to custom fab an entire swap that eliminates both the things that makes an EVO desireble (turbo and AWD) and spending probably as much money as it could be to just get your insurance money, get another EVO, and spend all that LS money on 4g63 mods, to where you can have a solid 12-11 second car that doesn't have a completely alien drivetrain. I should have known better then to have an opinion.
