Honestly when you buy something as expensive as an EVO you shouldn't have an engine swap on your mind. Big points for creativity but otherwise I think that's pretty pointless.

I really wouldn't call an Evo expensive.

I don't really see the point, either, but not quite for the same reason as everyone else here. I don't see why you'd waste an LS1 on an Evo. There are plenty of decent cars you could put it in.

Nice I love swaps, I think that Evo would put the smackdown on alots of cars here including my own and $30,000 now this days for a new car is nothing unless you get a base model and lose money on resale.

I read the whole thing. Just because a 30k car is in a fire doesn't mean that it's a good idea to custom fab an entire swap that eliminates both the things that makes an EVO desireble (turbo and AWD) and spending probably as much money as it could be to just get your insurance money, get another EVO, and spend all that LS money on 4g63 mods, to where you can have a solid 12-11 second car that doesn't have a completely alien drivetrain. I should have known better then to have an opinion.
