"for the money you spend on shocks and spring i would just get megan coilovers i have never heard a complaint. "

I searched for entry level coilovers and Megan, K-Sport, Tein Basic and D2...etc came up. They are around $900+ range. Read all threads and people said save up some more money and get KTS. That was what I was going to get, but it'll cost $1100 for daily driver. I don't race or drift, so I decided to go for shock & spring combo. I'm looking at $492 shipped(AGX+S. Tech) or $516 Shipped(AGX+GF210). I think that's pretty good deal.

I did some more search and it looks like S. Tech is progressive and GF210 is linear and most people recommend linear. I think I'm leaning toward Tanabe GF210. I compared AZHitman's(KYB GR-2+S.Tech) and attwater's(KYB AGX+GF210) cars and drop was very similar. If the drop is almost same, I should go for linear spring. Am I right?

As for "gangstalean", my driver side is 1" lower than passenger side with stock setup. I really hope it won't be that bad with my new setup. Thanks for all your inputs guys.

in the part of miami i live in the roads are very good so i dont have to worry about the hight so i like to go as low as possibel. i would rather have the control of height and damper and pay a littel more. but i can see why some of you would perfer to spend the $500 on just springs an shocks.

so in short if the roads where you live are good imo your better off spending the extra 350 and you can slam your car

Yeah, I know. I definitely want luxury of height adjustibility along with sharp handling, but you know sometimes you can't get everything.

I had a pretty good deal on these rims 17x8 +38 offset and found out that I can't use bigger than 215/45 tires in the front. S13 doesn't have enough room in the front. That's another reason(not the main reason) I decided to get shocks and springs. On the other hand, I saw a guy running 245/40 17 with +31 offset all corners with KTS on his S14. I wish I could do that on my vert. I need to buy a new set of tires 245/40 17 too.

You can clear front tires because your rim must have lower offset than mine. Mine is +33 including 5mm spacers for the front. Do you have specs for your rims? I thought about putting some 15mm spacers and get coilovers, but that will go over my budget.

attwater,It looks like sppedalliance did a lot of research on your springs, Seriously. GF210 seems like a good choice for performance and drop for our vert. Most of all, it's a linear spring with that price. I prefer handling over comfort, so definitely I will get linear springs, not progressive. I think I'm going to get GF210. BTW, GF stands for Grip Feeling. There's Tanabe DF210 and it's Dress-Up Feeling. I want grip, not dress-up. Anyway, yes, I'll contact speedalliance when I'm ready to get my springs.

attwater,Have you checked your car on the flat surface? Is there any lean? I'm about to order GF210 and want to see how yours is. I have a bad feeling that my lean won't go away no matter what. Well, we will see.

I went out and scrutinized. I barely see any lean. It may well be there but it is so subtle that I have to try to look for it. If I had to be picky I'd say that there is an ever so slight lean to the left, but unless you were looking for it you'd never notice. I work on this car every day and never noticed.
