Low washer fluid light

First, excuse me for my bad english because i'm french.

I've a 300zx z32 1995 biturbo, and I realized that the light was not working, is there a sensor in the tank ? how can we verify that it works ?

the fluid till it no longer sprays, if the light eventually comes on then its working, if it doesnt then id say its safe to assume its not working, easiest way to figure it out, wasteful but it works

I completely emptied but nothing light up, where can I order this sensor ?
