I have known Erik Rummel for YEARS and have witnessed first hand how he will say and do whatever he can to do whatever he wants. He manipulates, lies, and flashes a smile, and sadly most people give in to him. I can't urge strongly enough for people to sue him, report him to the BBB, whatever they can to make things right. He will NEVER change his mind and decide to make things right on his own. It's time someone made him grow up and face his responsibilities. Just think... what kind of father, or stepfather, allows their kids to sleep on the floor of a poorly ventilated, poorly heated/cooled automotive shop? This guy cares that little for his own children. What makes you think he's going to care at all about your cars?

Thats bad. I mean.. it is one thing to crash in your 'office' after work, but if you have kids.. no way. You need to step up to the plate..

And FYI, I grew up in a shop. A _good_ shop!

Just in case anyone isn't aware... Erik's name on here is iroc_07. He's making posts to sell and buy parts, and I can't comment on his thread, so I thought I'd let you know so you can avoid his lack of ethics here, as well.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again... This guy can talk his way out of a plastic bag that's tied shut... lessthanthree has got it right, sells himself well, and flashes a smile, and you fall for it. I also know him personally, and will never even as much as talk to the guy again.

I encourage people as well to go after him legally, in any way/shape/form possible. He needs to go down... It's pathetic the "work" he does...or lack there of...

There really should be some sort of sticky informing people about the good and bad shops, and explaining why the bad shops are bad... Just to help out the people that don't already know...

I will be posting pictures of two cars that were recently pulled from Low Life Kustomz.

One is an Rb26dett in a s14.The other Rb in an s13 chasis.

Both cars are hazards to be driving on public streets.

I will make an in depth post about them and include pictures. The two gentleman that own the cars were in Aw as to how someone can call themselves experts, and build cars to such crappy standards.

The two cars were brought to my shop to fix all the errors that were made. I suggest in the meantime, no one goto this place for an Rb swap until they can clear anything up.

Nas

P.S. Greg I will be contacting you sometime this week. I want to see if you will be going to VIR for GTLive as you have done in the last two years.

First hand experience with low life:My brother took his Z there to get a RB swapped in the car. Car came in with a perfect body, ran ok and everything, just that stock it was pretty slow.

Enter Erik.

Gives a time frame for the work, exceeds the time frame by many months, blames it on parts etc... Which could be true and all

Somehow causes a big dent on the rear quarter passenger side and causes the paint to chip off. He says oh I will get that taken care of,.... well months later, and plenty of calls and messages he says, "well that did not happen here" after he said there was paint from the car on the floor at his shop.

Right, so afterwards he gives my brother the name of his "paint" guy to take a look at it after my brother had called him tens of times, and no anwer (caller ID), and left messages. I instructed him to ask for Erik's insurance info, which Erik would not give out, then I told my brother to ask Erik for his lawyer, which he would not give out either.

Erik is sincerely a shady fellow, and I had wanted a 1jz swap in a FD done by him, but I cant stand being jerked around and lied to.

Avoid him at all cost.

Erik; This is Steve Outterbridge, and if you have a problem with anything I have said, or you think that somehow you can explain not answering countless messages for months, then at all means call me or meet me, my dad owns a business so I think I know a bit about how it should and should not work.

I can say that the car runs great, and the swap is pretty clean. Its the ethics/business side that he sucks at. There was numerous other issues to with his work, but I don't have time to completely indulge in everything.

A huge dent with missing paint now resides here:
