Low Beam on ALL THE TIME?

My Z is an 2008 Canadian model, and the low-beam xenon gets turned out automatically when I start the engine, and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off?

I've just installed swapped stock halogen parking lights with LEDs, and would like to run the car WITHOUT low-beam xenon on all the time.

Is this possible?

I understand, I am just asking if I could actually use my parking lights as DRL, and not low-beam?

low-beam HID really outshines my newly installed 6000K LED parking lights =)

Oh I am just not a big fan of stock halogen bulbs.

I've already swapped map, trunk, licence plate lights from halogen to LEDs already, though I might as well change the parking lights as well.

So I guess there is no way to drive with JUST the parking lights on eh?

not so much in the US - it's not a law yet, unlike the TPMS crap...not all new cars have DRLs yet.

Unless you want to get into some funky wiring around your car, I dont see a way....you can't even see your lights during the day anyway...

I agree, but the reason I wanted to run the car with DRL only, is that in dawn or dusk, people would only see 2 bright dots of LEDs on my car, now call me rice, but I thought that would be pretty damn cool
