We are all busy working 65 hours a week so we can pay for a tank of gas!

I actually cleaned my K&N filter this week end hoping to increase my fuel efficiency... i've been getting 24.5 average. Not bad for such a strong car.On a trip this spring I did hit 30. I think it's the intake and exhaust mods (along with the 5 speed).

Honestly, I've been skiing about 35 times so far this summer.Link of a video of my last 28' off pass: (you'll need quicktime to watch it I think)http://home.insightbb.com/~ssh...9.MOV

Playing around yesterday, I checked mileage while doing an even 40mph. I was getting 45.1 mpg! Of course, stop at one stop sign and it drops to 35, stop at another and you are back to 28.

I filled up yesterday at $37 for mid-grade (1/3 tank left last nigt ). I put $20 in her on Tuesday.

88k miles....Time for some spark plugs - lol

My air filter sucks balls. But what should i expect from a 10 dollar air filter. I need to get a new one. Is that air hog worth buying?I also need to change my oil. I love spending all my money on gas and not being able to do maint on the car.

Where do you go skiing at??

I have a BERK intake, which as I understand it is the same as a couple others on the market. (hot air intake, shorter tube than the injun). It DOES add more top end breathing, especially if your exhaust is opened up any. I think between it and the Y pipe I got 20 HP and 1-2 MPG.It sound cool when you step on it too.HOWEVER... it also robs low end torque. Noticably. After a couple days you get used to it and I'd probably freak out if I went back to the stock intake box and realized how much more torque there was.

As for the skiing I'm in a ski club that has a private site down near Bernheim forest. We are the only boat on the water.

CullenJ76 (95 5 speed w/35 shot of NO2) pulled a 1.4-7(?) 60' time on BFG drag radials (If I remember correctly). I have some of his runs on vid, let me take a look.

Edit: I don't have the time slip, but I have the video of him doing 8.7 in the 1/8th @82.4mph. I think his pesonal best was a 7.3 in the 1/8th, with a 1.2-4 60' time on slicks.

Green is nice, especially north of the Marina where it narrows down. Main body can get a little choppy for a comp ski boat. There are a lot of SVT racing boats on that lake.

Cumberland is probably the nicest lake i've been to.You can ski in almost any creek there.Beaver creek is great, nice and calm.I know the guys that maintain the course down at Grider hill.

What kind of boat are you running?

I don't have a boat.

My dad has a Bayliner, and his good friends all have house boats(all on Green).

Some friends have of mine have "run a bouts" and one has a nice pontoon.

Camping is my thing so we all throw it all together and have a blast!

cool.I share a boat with 11 guys (2004 ski nautique) . It stays on lift.works out real well for us. every 2 years we trade it in for a new one. split the depreciation 11 ways and it's pretty good deal.
