Scott. I tried a sts out of a 2005 alti se-r. Sucked. You can see the quality difference too. It was cheaply made. Made in teh good ole us of a and cost 50 dollars. my max shifter was made in japan and cost 300 dollars but is a lot better quality

I may be up for a max meet

Steve. Let us know how that steam clean goes. I'd like to do this to my engine bay as well.

I'd like to see if i could tighten up the rear header bolts and see what's up with a noise i get at 2500rpms. Its a buzzing noise i'll have to take u guys for a drive to hear it. Also coilovers should be coming in sometime soon.

Coilovers, huh?

I will probably order some illuminas within the next couple of weeks. We may need another install day by the end of November. If not, $300 for install goes down the drain

really anything, jsut figured it would be a good way to meet some people, and have a good time with cars.

ive never set a meet up before, so i dont know any good places besides coxs park.

just give some input about when/where we should do this.

Maxima MeetOK what weekend is good for everyone? Preferences on Sat .vs Sun?

Nov 6/7Nov 13/14Nov 20/21

I guess depending on what weekend is chosen, we could look for some activities. Something like check out an SCCA autoX if there's one going on?

This is the first time i've tried to link pictures in this site, so bear with me. (and sorry for the large file sizes, but I don't have photoshop to shrink them down).

Engine compartment after 10 minutes with a 900 watt steam cleaner and minimal wiping:http://home.insightbb.com/~ssh...r.JPG

For the effort, definitely worth it.I also spent the morning with the beloved clay bar:http://home.insightbb.com/~ssh...2.JPG

11's, FINALLY.

Made a couple passes at the track today. I was not wanting to break anything, so I didn't (easy on the launch/shifts)No track prep other than switching wheels (full interior, 2/3 tank gas, etc)Stock intake manifold.

Turbo only. (18.8psi) (10.9af)60': 2.0 1/4: 12.0MPH: 122

I then made a run with less boost, spraying 4th gear only. (14psi) (65shot/800psi) (11.8af 1-3rd, 11.2af 4th)60': 1.881/4: 11.9MPH: 124.9

(PS. 1st gear only makes 4-5psi... after that it stays in boost for the rest of the run; the top end is rowdy! I consistently picked up 30mph in the 2nd 1/2 of the track )

On my last run I was going for more boost and spraying 3rd+4th, but bogged on the launch and called it quits. I took 3rd place ($50)

I'll post a couple vids when I get back

I think Clay City had "Car Wars" this past weekend. It was most likely there.

thanks guys.

I may have to attend the meet, probably just 1 location though. I may caravan to BG (Where I go to school), socialize and then remain there.

Cullen: Thanks, just wish the MAXIMA would show a little better.

The meet thread on 502 is getting some decent response, this may just turn out ok. I can't believe no one has posted up with any additional jobs for Saturday.
