I got an 06 infiniti G35 6MT. I spend more of my time in florida's highways driving miles and miles every single day, so I get to race a lot with different cars. I've race with Evos, STIs, mustangs, etc. Most of the time I get to win, but a week ago and STI just bit the hell out of me. Well, I saw it, and I just went behind it. I gear down to 4th, and we started to race. I felt imediatelly that if I would gear up to 5th I would stay behind, and this is what it just happened. That was a pretty dam good distabce that this STI took me. Since that day, I got down. This is the reason I signed up to this forum.
well I have to be honest, I gear up to 5th at 6500 rpm; I think that was my error.If anybody can give an advise, I would appreciate it.

i coulda told you that your chances of winning an STI are slim... you want more power... forced induction is the way to go. intake, headers, and exhaust is only temporary satisfaction. If you were in socal, i'd recommend you to come out and check out Stillen located in Irvine.

Yeah,you probably wouldn't have won that race against a stock sti,and the ones you did win against an sti would have to have been someone who just got the car,or just doesn't know how to drive a stick. You need to mod your car if you want to win that race.
