How much does your gf charge an hour? my car needs a few tattoos haha
yeah it's being clearcoated one it's done. I'd need some sponsors if I was actually paying my girlfriend what this is actually worth. I bought her a ticket to Osaka to visit her old friend, so it's cost me 500 US so far. I'd say paint/body would run 50 dollars an hour on the low end and so far there are about 82 hours invested from Allison.. 82x50= 4,100 USD .. good god.. !! haha

Allison says thanks! I show her everybody's responses, and she's always flattered to see the positive response to the car. here she is in action. I have enough in the series to make a gif, except making gifs appears to be quite time consuming, so it might be a while before I put it together.

She's got a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from University of Hawai'i. Interestingly, she studied glass blowing for the most part while she was there.

thanks guys^^

I'm not certain on how many markers it is so far, but I know it's less than 20 so far which accounts for nearly 100 hours of drawing. probably still about 10 hours shy of that. the rear quarter is almost done as of today but I forgot the camera.. last night we made it this far..

Yeah I've seen people talking about posting on their local forums and such. That's friggin sweet!.. but at the same time I foresee a bandwith suicide on my picture hosting site in the near future, haha.

here's the first part of this update. I also have a time lapse video of the remaining front fender that is almost finished. 3 hours in under a minute!

^thanks guys. I gotta start actually doing the performance mods to this thing or it will never be ready before I die. BTW I see you were at Tsukuba at some point as per sig pic... How hard was it to figure out open track days etc down there with them. It's hard enough for me to figure out what's going on at my local track in Nango!

Wow your Greg is badass. Your better take her out some where nice after this is done.

Only problem is that once you start tracking the car, it might get messed up.After you clear coat it.Spend some $ on those clear bra's.

Lookin good, dude.

If you ever get down towards Tokyo with that thing. Be sure to let me know. I personally know one of the photographers that shoots for SpeedHunters, as he's a fellow GT-R owner.

I'll be sending you an e-mail either today, or later on this week. Be sure to check it out.

^Awesome! It's not a question if I'll ever get it down to Tokyo, it's just when it will be ready. I'm working as fast as I can to scrounge parts up though!
