Like the title says, can someone suggest a good affordable scanner to read cvt temps while driving? No issues with the car. Thanks.

Lots of people here like Blue Driver. There are also plenty of apps that link with generic BT scanners, Torque Pro, CVTz50, OBD Fusion to name a few.

Well, I was using CVTz50 with an $18 ELM327 adapter on the wife's '13 Altie. Don't use it anymore because I put a gauge in it, but it worked fine.

Scanguage 2. I got mine at advance auto, used their coupon and paid around $120. Does way more than just monitor cvt temps, pretty much about anything you can imagine minus abs codes. I’ve got a few nissans so I swap it back and forth. It easily pays for itself the first time you service your cvt. Going through the Cumberland gap with my 21 was nice to see that the cvt doesn’t run as hot as you’d think. 80mph up the side of a mountain and the trans stayed cool as could be.
