Hey guys is their anyone or do you know of anyone near San Bernardino, California that would be willing to help me get my 71 240z w/l28t running.I know **** isnt free in this world but will work something out.

Some info on the project: Swap is in car crancks over but wont start. I have fuel but no spark Never finished wireing(got spark ones but never after that).

if you never finnished wiring how can you be suprised you got no spark? do you have the chassis hot hooked tot he + side of the coil? did you run the trigger wire fromt he ignitor to the plug next to the ecu on the turbo harness?

and was the donor running? the ignitor and distributor are common failure points, and is the turbo donor an 82-83? or an 81? 81 has the external cas and is a bit different

I'd live to drive to CA to help but I got plans

like I had said I did get spark ones but never after that so i thought that my wiring was rong so i pulled some of it of mainly the coil wires and thats about it. well if your up for it let me know when ever you have some free time.

well first thing I'd do it check for the square wave trigger signal coming out of the distributor, there are 2 signals, one is every degree and the other is ever 60 degrees, then I'd check for the square wage signal going to the ignitor then I'd check for the signal coming out fo the ignitor

That just totally blew my mind. For future reference, how does one check square wave signals?

I use a snap on logic probe, I've heard an analog multimeter can detect them as well, ro an oscilliscope but thats a lot of money
