I have a similar question, but mine relates more to the quality, performance and sound of the CAI than price.

I would like to pick up a couple HP, but not if it makes my V sound like an angry hornet caught in a blender.If you've ever heard a cheaply-made, poorly-tuned CAI, you know what I mean.

For all you that have a CAI installed, what are your thoughts?- HP gains (subjective or measured)- Change in sound volume and pitch at idle/highway speeds/full throttle- Throttle response (better/worse)- Anything I've missed

Hp gains- ~5 you probably wont see any more out of a CAIchange in sound- [idle] None [highway] None [full throttle] Sounds really nice not ricey at allThrottle response- I guess you can kind of feel a difference maybe its just me.
