looking at a 95 nissan hardbody

i think im going to buy a 95 nissan 2wd with a manual trans.. it has 170k on it, but only one owner. the body rot was recently repaired, just needs paint.i know that the truck has can have a ka24, but is that the only motor it can have? i only know that it may have a ka24 cause i remebered that some 240's have a truck motor...the ka24. if it has the ka24, there must be some basic upgrades/mods i can do right?

im not going to build a crazy truck, i need a work truck. but, i will likely try to imporve the power and looks alittle. its like a disease, i have to modify any vehicle i own. not a bad disease to have tho.

the ka24e or the vg30e, alot more out there for the vg30e than the KA but if your looking for minor stuff then they're about the same. Intake manifolds from the 89-90 240sx work and provide a little upgrade as does the cam, plus a doug thorley header. Start there. peace.

i was looking for a basic short ram air intake. i tried looking under ka24/nissan d21/nissan hardbody, but couldnt find one. i found a couple of intake systems that were like $150. im used to honda stuff where a short ram intake is $35. any ideas? or will i have to make my own custom?

i plan to fix up some of the body work the last owner did. it patched the body, but doesnt look good.then, i have a can of niteshade spray on tint im gonna use on the rear lights to give them a smoked look.iv already ordered a nismo decal off ebay:)1st i have to fix the driver side door. something broke and it wont open from the inside or outside.i got the truck with a fairly new sticker for $850. thats not bad for around here.

i was going to post some pics, but dont know how...anyway...it has the ka24, 170k on it and it runs really smooth.i have basic plans, paint stock color over patches...put on fender flares...window visors...paint the bed black...maybe ad a hood vent...tint the side windows... thats a start any ways.id like to put a bigger muffler on it, and mod the air intake. i was thinking of running with the air cover off.
