Locking Problem

Alright, last night I was driving my girlfriend home and all of a sudden I start hearing this clicking noise. I didn't know what it was but then I realized its the noise that your lock makes when you push it too many times so its not locking anymore its just making the clicking noise.

So I was very confused, I just figured my elbow or her elbow was on it but both locks were not being touched by anything. So I drop her off and the whole was home it is still continously clicking over and over.

So I get home and try to figure it out. I turn off my car and it stops, so I turn it back on and its not doing it anymore. But then once I press the lock and unlock button a couple times it starts clicking again.

So I get out and see if my remote works. I pressed my remote about 50 times locking and unlocking and it worked fine.

So I left it over night and today I went to see if it was still doing it and now whenever I press unlock it automatically locks. And after I press it a couple times they just die and make the clicking noise but the locks dont move at all.

So I'm calling the dealership to see whats up and hope they fix it.

Has anyone else had any problems like this?

good ol non-power locks, no problem here

Guessing your remote was in your pocket and the unlock button was being pressed. If not, yeah something weird was going on.

I had a similar problem when I parked the car one night with my smart key locks. I got out of the car and tried to lock it, but the locks popped back up and it was beeping at me. Even though the car and radio was off, I figured out that I hadn't turned the key switch TOTALLY back to the OFF position.
