Hi guys. Haven't posted yet but I have some questions as to the power limits of the drive train. I was originally just going to do a Twin Turbo swap and call it a day but got the bug for much more power. I am going to be building my N/A motor into a twin turbo motor (complete bottom end rebuild and so on) making around 500hp or more. I'd like to know what the trans, driveshaft, diff and rear axles are capable of holding in terms of power. I'd also like to know if it is recommended to upgrade the oil pump and pan and the rear diff mounts. Pic of my car for attention.

Welcome to NICO! At 500 hp, all the stock bits should hold up just fine. I cant speak for the automatic but the manual is known to take 5-600 hp without issue, you will need an upgraded clutch). The stock 2 piece driveshaft is strong enough but introduced extra flex if you are a hardcore drag racer, plenty of one piece options out there. The N/A came wiht the smaller R200 diff which can handle 5-600 hp without issue, a proper clutch or helical lsd will allow you to make better use fo the power than the stock viscous unit. The CV shafts are also known to hold 5-600 hp but if you are a serious drag racer I suspect they'd be the first to go.
