So the warning lights on my digital dash are coming on as well as the battery light when the car is run at higher rpm's...i have a new battery and fairly new alternator (i hope its not the alternator again) but the gauge seems to be sitting at the right level and it fluctuates with the rpm's...could it possibly be that the belts are over/under tightened?? Or is there a completely other reason??

So after getting ticked off with three different autozones I went to checkers (who might I add work a lot better and more efficient) but they were able to tell me it was the diode and I needed a new alternator which suprisingly are cheaper than most alternators on other cars

If you are going through alternators, you could have a bad connection between the negative battery terminal and the body.

I would make sure that connection is good first because a lifted body ground there can eat diodes.
