My wife is driving home 2 nights ago and stopped at a market, when she got back in the ABS light, airbag light and OD light started flashing and driving up a hill the trans kept shifting from od to drive and she says the brakes are surging. Anyone else had this happen or is mine the first? I figure it cant be all those issues just something else.

common problem. You got a bad ignition coil.
when the engine dont have enough power it cuts accessories off (abs air bags and so on)

This is more like an alternator problem.

I just had my battery tested today and though it was down after charging it the battery is fine. How hard is it to change the alternator in this Max. I have some mechanical ability but some jobs are better on a lift and does it help to remove the right front tire?

It's a tight squeeze to change the alternator.
