Lighter Wheels

Hello all!

After destroying my second Kyowa rim via pothole, and as a result of them not making the color I have anymore, I am forced to search for new wheels. I just had my old Krom wheels put back on, and I noticed that the lighter weight of them really lightened up the handling. So I've decided to move into lighter wheels for my next set. However, I have a few questions for you all:

Does anyone know the weight of the stock Krom wheels or where I could find out? I would really like to have a base weight to compare "lightweight" wheels to.

Does anyone have any good recommendations on where to find lightweight wheels? I think that I'm going to try to find a set of gold wheels, but I'm still open to all colors and styles. My only restrictions besides weight are sizing and price. I want a 16" or 17". After my 18" wheels got trashed so easily, I am NOT interested in getting such a large size rim nor getting such a low profile tire. As for price, I don't mind spending a bit extra on quality and lighter weight, but not some ultra-lightweight pure carbon wheels that will break the bank.
