Who's ready for a BBQ AC meet?

I'm thinking get together at Valley Stream State Park (http://nysparks.state.ny.us/pa...ID=51) since it's very close to NYC and everyone who would usually stop by a BestBuy meet should hopefully have no issues driving a few more miles down the Belt Parkway. Parking costs a couple of bucks, I think.

First let's figure out the interest in this and then plan on who's going to bring what. Lots of time before us to plan things out.

I can stop by this weekend and ask about the permit. Still plenty of time to get one if they require it.Don't think we'll have parking issues. But I can ask about getting a section set aside.

Seperate parking lot isnt required, just make sure theres a decent amount of parking... we can set it up at a different park if that park doesnt have lots of parking, like the bbq we went to last yr marisha

There's plenty of parking from what I remember and even an overflow lot, so we'll be able to fit no problems.

I was just worried that they might get bored if there weren't other kids to play with. But then again, it's not like they're really little kids who need to be occupied, they're 10 & 12, so I'm sure they'd be fine.

Went to the park office this weekend and here's the info:> No permit needed if under 40 people > Parking is $6> Overflow lot will only be open if the main one is full> Parking as well as everything else in the park is on a first come first serve basis> Park is open 7am til sunset> Park office has caution tape that we can use to tape out our area, but someone has to stay with the area or we lose it> Saturdays tend to be early days
