I'm just curious to know until what time everyone is going to be there until. I get out of work at 5. Valley Stream is 5-10min away from my house. I have to deal with busy traffic on Old Country Road on the way home so it may cost me some time. I feel bad that I haven't been to any meets, most of you guys(except the new guys)have all met. I haven't met anyone of you guys and I feel left out haha. LBC lives in my town, 5 min away and I even haven't seen him lol.

Out of this list, I would say the absolute necessities are:Cheese for burgersBurger bunsTools for the grillAluminum Foilplates, cups, napkins

That, of course, is not to say that you can't bring something else. These are just items that we need for the BBQ.

I'll be reorganizing the list of people into groups who have mentioned what they were bringing, those who said they were coming but have yet to chime in, and the tentative people. If you're tentative, it's totally cool with me if you don't say anything up front and just show up with something the day of since you aren't committed to going 100%.

Those of you who haven't decided on an item to bring...are you guys still planning to show up? If you can't get to a store between now and the meet, remember that LBC offered to take your money and pick something up.

The BBQ is only a few days away now and the weather should hold up (at least that's what I saw this morning). Let's make it a great kick off meet for the summer!

Cheese for burgers, and grill tools if you got em... those would be the most important things we are missing as of now.

Saturday June 13th Weather Forecast for Valley Stream, NY:

Few Showers High - 76°FLow - 62°FChance of Precip: 30% Wind: N at 10 mphUV Index: 8 Very HighHumidity: 65% Sunrise: 5:23 AMSunset: 8:27 PM

Looks like there are going to be possible showers on and off throughout the day. But with a 30% chance of precipitation, shouldn't be anything heavy *knock on wood*. Temp should be in low 70s during mid-day, which sounds good to me.

It was supposed to rain at Carlisle AND HIN... We snuck by on both of em without getting wet.

I think this will be the same... However, if someone has one of those popup tents like Phenom brought to HIN, it would be a good idea, but we cant manage to get BBQ tools together so I think a tent is out of the question lol

IF no one can come through on the tools and cooler, I'll see about borrowing one. But if one of you guys has your own, please chime in and come through with the stuff. This is a group effort after all.

If you're worried about weather or in general knowing if we're at the BBQ, or where everyone is, or anything like that and want my number as a point of contact, send me an email (address is in my profile) with your contact info and I will reply. This doesn't mean that I'll be calling you guys once we leave the place, just giving you a way to get in touch with someone at the spot.

I'll grab a handful of paper plates from work, when I can Although someone grabbing some more would be nice. Napkins/paper towels are always good to have too. Don't think I can get my hands on those.
