and word to madlib. one of my fav, if not my fav producer. i love everything he does. beat konducta, madvillian, especially yesterdays new quintet and the LP was sick.

i like your style man, glad theres more people out there that know mad. lots of people know hip hop, but look over greatness.
^ His alter ego, Quasimoto, is genious! Madlib collab was his best!

I have years listening to good hip hop. lol, hip hop junkie!! I owe it to a group of friends I grew up with. They kept me in tune. And I'm talking about underground, not the crap they play on radio. But you knew that already. I like phanatik's work. He's hip hop!

That's dope. Never seen them perform, with the exception of Nas. I got a chance to see him at Rock The Bells.

"Hip-hop icon Keith "Guru" Elam died Monday as a result of cancer-related causes, MTV reports. He was 43 years old."
It come as a big surprise to me. Guru is a legendary emcee. It's sad that he left us at an early age.
His rapping style + Primo's beats gave Gangstarr a unique and distinctive sound in the late 80's and 90's.
His collab w/ Solar was not that great, but okay, and not at the level
which Guru+Primo hit.
I did have the opportunity to see him and KRS One perform here in El Paso.
He was mos def, one of my fave emcees.
He will be missed.
