Ok, I've pretty much decided I want nothing to do with the T25 I've got. Yes, it is an SR T25G with an HKS actuator, but still... I've been the T25 route before with other cars and it just plain sucks. So... I put it up on ebay In any event, I REALLY have my eye on a 0.64 A/R GT2871R. BB turbos have excellent transient response which is something I am looking for. Only thing I am not too excited about is the $1100 price tag it carries.

Some people have said to go with an S15 T28 (~$800), but for an extra $300, I would really like that extra 13 lb/min.

Then others have said to go the T3/T4 route. After the cost of the manifold ($200), 38mm wastegate ($200), .48 50-trim T3/T4 ($600), then a custom O2/DP ($200-300), it ends up being more than the 2871R. Although yes, if anything happened to the turbo itself, it's half the price to replace.

So many options... Can anyone talk me out of the 2871R?

...hmmmmm, $1100!! :P

it's a good turbo none the less. It'd get it if I had $1100 to spend =)

Well, I think I've decided on the S15 T28 for now. If later on, I feel I need something larger, then I will upgrade and whore the S15 out to you guys
