Let's start a petition

I have tried for days and days constantly looking for some altezza or carbon fiber taillights for my 90 fastback 240. i can not find them for anything. Does anyone know how to make a petition to send to one of the manufacturing companies so that we can request them for our beloved vehicles. I am sick and tired of reading civic this and civic that, give the 240's their due respect. If you know of anywhere to get any or anything, please tell me. I have big plans for my 2nd. I need clear accesories though to fulfill my vision. Help please!

i can tell you why they dont exist. most 240sx owners dont want them. thankfully the 240sx is one of the few sporty imports out there that has managed to be largely ingorned by the ricer culture.

They will be out in 5 or so months whether you like it or not....

But for Jesus's sake, you have to know those lights look terrible, but who would ever want to make their car faster? Its not like you can go fast without getting a ticket anway.

i think because the guy was only asking about lights. not giant wings or hideous graphics.

actually some of those lights aren't too bad on certain cars (ive seen about 3 styles that actually look good on a ford focus and toyota matrix but thats about it)

really though don't your tail lights work, and if they don't have you checked the fuses and the bulbs?

is the "in thing" to not have them? why dont you give him a break and let him customize his car as he wants it to be. Most of us wouldnt be here if the "in thing" was to not mod cars at all. Were all here cause we love cars, so lets enjoy them and if his altezzas let him enjoy his car more, then all the power to him.

no i will not encourage a petition because i dont think altezzas would look good.

I dont think there is anything wrong with wanting your car to look nice, as long as you have the motor to backit up. Then again, I have never seen a car other than the Altezza that should have clear tails. you guys should lay off (some of)the big wings tho.. at least they serve a purpose on RWD cars..

alright, i want to go clear to mix well with my black. If you don't like it, don't respond. I am not a ricer and never will be. I had a chance to sell my wrecked 240 and add 1000 bucks to get a 2000 Civic free and clear, but I didn't. I am 240 through and through, but I want a 240 diff from everyone else's. Don't like it, don't respond.

**** altezzas, they are rice, explain how they are not!! Silvia conversion on civic = rice, all you are doing is taking the style from a toyota and putting them on a 240 which is RICE, not to mention they are ugly as piss, want some cool tails, try the 180sx taillights, they look so much damn better, just stick to nissan products. Altezzas are cheap, ugly and do not fit the styling of the car, **** I even like the clearcorner lights for the 240, well I like the way that car looked, but man come on, no altezzas, no petition won't happen cause the list would consist of maybe 20 ppl, half of which have lifetime subscriptions to superstreet and the other half who dont even own a car.

Gunna hafta go with the consensus on this one, "altezzas" = horribly ugly riceity. Get the 180SX Kouki lights, ridiculously sexy lights, they are.

240 owners are strange to me. It seems like we are one extream or the other.. either we have neon orange paint, 20+ stickers, Bookshelf wing, DUBZ and no motor mods. OR we stripped our interior with a hacksaw and spend every dime on handling and HP mods with no concern for style at all.

I am in the middle, I'm not gonna quit till i have 400hp, a full MOMO interior and undercar neons. Rice? dont care. Its my car.

Trueslide - I have agreed with you in alot of posts since i've been here. And i agree that Altezza tails and robbing a style off another make of car is Rice. BUT this guy thinks it will look good, its his car, and at least his car is black instead of that sweet baybee blue color all the TEGS have. I'm not gonna sign a petition, but if the kid finds some lights he likes let him be about it.

I agree with ya!! Iam just giving my opinion, his may differ, I can't stop him and he is free to do what he wants.

The best looking tail lights are the kouki conversion but pricey also imo I think the 95-96 s14 tail lights are just damn right dead sexy.

Im gonna go with the Chuki old-skewl back plate and side windows when i gets the cash to buy and have them installed. i dont want to spend $500 on just back lights when i can get the center garnish for $50.
