You used H11 LED's for your fog lights? Are they bright enough? Can't decide between HID conversion or LED's for fog lights.

Choose HID for enhanced lighting and improved color. Choose LED for severely reduced lighting (from all of the bulbs I have seen) and improved color.

So, whats the final verdict on the front parking lights?? Not the high power 14's, but what is the right number 19 or 27 or another one?

Please advise - thank you!

The replacement clear lenses for the footwell lights can be purchased from Infiniti. The clear lenses in the trunk are the same as the footwell.

I found it to be a mute transaction to replace them with clear. Even if they cost very little, BUT they didn't.

If you install a single LED, it lights it up real nicely and it won't come out of the socket.

The only way you can see if there is no lens covering the footwell bulbs is if you get your head down there. The lenses are cheap, but add in shipping and handling ($11.95 from infinitipartsusa.com) and they get to be pretty pricey parts you will never see (or need imo).

Are these the ones that you had trouble with melting when used with the factory HID headlights, or do these work with the factory HID headlights?

infinitiandbeyond - Your post was very tempting, so I have begun the transformation. Thus far I have upgraded with the following from V-LEDS:

License Plate: 194_HP2_WFront Doors: 921_9_WRear Doors: 921_9_WCity Lights: 194_X5_HP_WTrunk: DIY_30_SMT_W

Very happy with results. Light output in the trunk is much better then old OEM's!! Only wish the city lights came in 5000K rather than 6000K. Feel the 5000K would be a smoother match with the existing low beams. The 6000K looks much bluer than they really are next to them.

Looking forward to taking on the interior (front and rear map lights and foot wells). I plan on using the suggestions that "About Tree Fiddy" defined for the front map lights. I'm also looking to swap out the existing fogs and installing a HID kit. I think I'll go with yellow bulbs for improved lighting and functionality in adverse weather.

Anyone with suggestions for HID fog kit?

Moslof - when you get to the backup lights, use V-leds #921_14_HP_W and light up the parking lot.

THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH AND YES I'M SCREAMING HAPPY. My car looks awesome and now the wife wants to hook up her FX 35 the same way. I went with everything u did and it looks great. except the dome light i didn't have to spice and dice (Thank GOD). i was able to find a conversion kit that fitted into this crappy dome light fixture. It cost A pretty penny. thanks again.

There is a new fog light bulb vleds is offering. Its supposed to be twice as bright as the one some on here bought. Anyone buy these and put them in their fogs? I know they aren't HID's but just wanted to get some idea of how much brighter they were then the 68 LED. Here it is

I did try the 68-LED fogs and while they looked good, my headlights are not HID so it didn't quite look right. I decided to search for a more powerful halogen. I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I will say, however, that these "HI-POWER" LED's (that this new 28-LED uses) are outstanding! The hi-power leds in my backup lights are simply awesome!

Post a pic if anyone decides to try the 28-led fogs.

Keep contributing to the thread!

I bought the 28-led as well as the driving light, back up lights, and all interior lights. I'll take some pictures whenever they come in and get installed.

Has anyone tried these for backup light?

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior....html

These are similar to the 14 LED that's on this thread, but has 5 more radially firing 1/2 watt LEDs. Do you think there will be a heat issue?

I covered these exact same lights in my original post. No heat issues used as backup lights.

They say this one is new with 19 high-powered LEDs, 5 more than the 14. Do you think it will be too bright?

Hey, pang, I was WRONG! I didn't read your post close enough.

I used and pictured the 5 watt 14-LED. I can tell you that even the 14's I have light the way really well.

However, these 8-watt 19-LED lights look AWESOME! I may order some and try them.

You want to watch that the length of these aren't too long. The 14's I have seemed to fit with room to spare.

I ordered a set of the 8-watt 19-LED high power ones. I'll post findings once I install them.

Sorry to ask again...but doesn't seem like it ever got answered. Most of this "upgrade/replacement" is plug & play correct? Just noticed one of my tag lights is out. Wouldn't mine doing the reverse lights and tag lights.

I just put in the new 28 LED Fog light. It looks very bright but doesn't give out alot of light output. Looks good though

Is the output better then the OEM bulbs though? I can barley even notice any difference when they are on. Do the LEDs make any improvement in that area? Any pics?

Honestly I don't think they are any better. I'll try to take some pics tonight or tomorrow. I just didn't like the yellow look that came from the fogs. I may end up doing HID fogs down the road.

Dude. i did the same w/ the LED fog light and the light output is worse. I think they seem to point very high or something. They r mostly just to make the car look better than they did with those dingy yellow lights. May upgrade myself to HID conversion for the fog lights . I did it for my old Camry head lights n it was sick. But then again i'm not happy with the HID headlights n i'm trying to change those to a better brighter white like the damn Lexus.

RSG123: Hi. I am doing the whole conversion of the inside. I am doing what you suggested via Ebay with 24 led in the front. However the back dome lights ones I ordered 18-led. Will those fit? I have read here that someone placed a 16led. Thanks
