LED Tail lights?

I found these on eBay - I have no idea what to make of them because they look good in the pictures, but they may look like crap on the car. Im not a fan of the typical Honda clear tail lights, so Im hoping these aren't like that. Anyone have any ideas? Like 'em? Hate 'em? Here's a link:

And one other question - I've seen clear side markers on an 02 I35, but I can't find them anywhere and there's nothing on eBay - anyone know where I might find some?

oh i did find the clear side marker lights too! with projector low beams! they are on ebay.

It would be nice to be able to have ANY choices for the 6th gen, there's one but it's hideous!!!

Indeed.I like the stock tail light design on the 6th gen. It's devoid of any uncecessary bare chrome or white and MUCH cleaner than most tail light designs these days. I don't know why aftermarket LED alternatives all have to have tons of (extra-cheap looking) chrome.

I recived the lights yesterday and they look very nice! when i did the install i had to modify the center plastic insert on the trunk lid!! I was not happy! but it turned out ok. i will post pics as soon as i get up off my lazy a$$ and get batteries for my cam....

Im glad to hear that you like the tail lights! Its unfortunate that you had to play with them first to get them to fit but I hope it paid off.

Yeah i dont need money for batteries LOL! I did take some pics and i will post em when i get home from work! I fownd out that the lights are designed from an I30 rear end, which has a slightly different center trunk piece. I would suggest to use an I30 center with these lights or just use the original if you dont mind cutting a little bit!

Their meant for the I30 you say? Hrm only weird thing is that the stock lights on an I30 are reveresed aka reverse and turning at the top and red at the bottom.

I know the I35 has them reversed in the same way as these new lights.

I know that. They must have kept the same molds just swapped the brake and turn signal lights around? Thats the only thing I can think of. If to look very close in the pic you can see where I had to trim the plastic for the lights to fit!
