Leather availability

Hi I'm new and don't have a Rogue yet, thus the name Wannabe. I'm trying to get an SL AWD premium pkg, leather pkg, moon roof, and all the bells and whistles. Is it just me or have some of you found that there aren't a lot of vehicles with leather available?

Your right. I couldn't find a Rogue with leather around where I live, but I'm actually pretty happy with the cloth interior. Not sure why there is a shortage.

We found a leather one but the deal fell through. I found another one very quickly using this tip I posted in another thread:

build your Rogue at nissanusa.com, then check inventories. Once you are looking at one inventory, change the color options in the upper right corner and select "change dealer" on the left. Put in a zip code and change range to 100 miles. Now you can quickly check every dealer within 100 miles and just back out one page if there isn't a good match.

Vox thanks for the tip, but I tried that. The nearest dealer I've found with what I want is 900 miles away. I'm aware that dealers will swap inventory, but do you know what kind of limits on distance there might be?

not sure about that -- i suppose you could just phone or email a couple dealers to see what they can do.

if you can afford to wait a bit, i think that is ultimately the best strategy especially from a bargaining position. as the car gets out i'm sure it won't be hard for long to get the options you want. still pretty early

I picked up my Rogue with the whole works on Saturday. I was able to find a couple of places with a fully loaded package, but I heard the same story a couple of times that the demand for fully loaded Rogues is far greater than Nissan anticipated. They thought they'd be hitting more of the economy minded market, but they're getting folks who are looking for more toys and luxury at an affordable price.

i couldnt find anything i liked so i just ordered it and just had to cancel and reorder because i think the black leather looks disgusting.

I have exactly what you are looking for (Black SL AWD with grey leather, premium, and moonroof packages) and it took a while to get it - the dealer i was working with had to bring it in from somewhere in Ohio - I am in central Kentucky. Good luck finding what you want, but dont expect any discount, I only got $600 off MSRP.
