Well the run sucked. 2.5 miles and I actually ran/jogged maybe half of it. What would be a better option? I can't go swimming without getting hypothermia right now.

it could be worse! I'm currently on my 4th sinus infection for the last 6 months now. Also, I've been trying forever to get my damn tablet to register as a drive letter in fastboot mode, but after pulling out all the stops, NOTHING. I am DAMN pissed off and ready to launch this thing out the window...

Yeah, main reason I couldn't keep my pace up is cause I had to keep stopping to cough. I probably would have stayed longer if I could have just fugging breathed and been ok. At least I'm doing better than I was.

So you're trying to get it to register as a drive in Fastboot? I thought you have to be in recovery to mount as a drive.

I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm following steps given to me online, and I can't seem to get anything to work like it's supposed to. Superoneclick 2.3 doesn't work because I have Android 3.2, I can't find an unmolested copy of Superoneclick 2.2 ANYWHWERE (the last one gave my computer rabies) and fastboot is what I need to get into to load the custom recovery that I want. I need a custom recovery (I'm gonna use Team Win) because the stock one won't work, so yeah...

When I put it in fastboot mode, it registers as an unspecified device in "devices and printers".

Any ideas? It's just a cheesy old Streak 7...

Morning! I figured it out now with the fastboot thing. I suck at following directions. My tablet is now rooted with custom recovery! Yay! :)

I hear ya with the swimming thing. Personally, I've always hated running, so it never bothered me to do some other sort of aerobic activity. I roller blade and bike. I used to have a stair stepper, but the left piston died on me. I never replaced it. I hear good things about the Elliptical, but you look so retahded using it I can't bring myself to get on one.

I also do the couch workout in the evenings. I started with just 20 pushups and 10 situps every time there is a commercial break. Now I do 20-10-20-10...since commercial breaks take like 4 minutes it's not difficult or anything.

It helps with my beer guilt.

We're planning on picking up an elliptical or a treadmill soon. Matt seems to have had good luck with a treadmill, but the wife keeps leaning toward the elliptical. I usually walk a lot when the weather is nice, but I absolutely hate being out in the elements for exercise, so unless it's sunny and nice, my a** is staying inside.

I played hockey for 12 years, rollerblading is second nature for me. It burns over 900 calories an hour.

I've never been able to skate or rollerblade. I'm too much of a damn klutz to do either.

Mornin' Ray. We had a light dusting of snow when I got up this morning and it was snowing on me on the way to work. I wish we'd get one more heavy snow before we get into spring, but I think that's wishful thinking :frown:

900 calories an hour?!? Seriously? Damn, I'm doing the wrong activities. I just throw around this 40lb barbell in all kinds of positions when drinking at home.
I need to start roller-hashing. lol

Hey Ray, it's the same temps here today. Weird.

Well bare in mind the 900 calories isn't just cruising down the sidewalk. You'll need to put in some effort for the entire hour. I live on base, we have sidewalks and running paths the circle the entire base and weave all through etc. I also have a high speed cart to push my boys in. You can't help but burn calories when you're pushing those fcukers around.

I push fu*kers around all day and don't burn that lol.

But seriously, I understand. I just wish I wasn't extremely clumsy and could work it out like that.

Yeah, we've got a stationary bike upstairs. I actually like ellipticals. I just went to the park because it was a nice day. I just didn't factor in that I was coming down from a pretty gnarly cold, so I couldn't stop coughing.

And Dave, I use TWRP too. It's awesome.

Yeah, it's awesome, but limited. CWM seems like the only thing roms are made for these days.

I would be using cyanogenmod 10.1 for it and ICS, but they still haven't fixed the camera, sim radio and other little bugs I can't live without. I LIKE BEING ABLE TO TAKE PICS< DAMMIT!

Right now honeystreak is giving me a stuck boot mode, I did a factory reset and I'm fine, I think the root partition for either Avast anti-theft or Juice Defender created some problems. We'll see...

I switched to TWRP on all my devices a while back and haven't looked back. I wouldn't call it limited. Genuinely not trying to be argumentative...but my experience is the opposite. And on some devices, TWRP is really the only way to go (like my One S, where TWRP circumvents some of HTC's idiotic lockdowns and saves me from needing access to ADB just to flash a ROM).

Also:
I'm used to not having a working camera on my phone, but surprisingly CM10.1 nightlies already have working camera and camcorder. Thanks to yet more of HTC's non-support, I usually wait a LONG time after a ROM gets "stable" before I can use my camera.

Well I'm certainly not an expert on this since I just started yesterday, lol.

But I guessed that CWM was the only thing I could get the custom recovery image I wanted that was made for my device on it since it was labeled that way...
If I can use TWRP with any image, then I'm going back to it as soon as I get this damn thing charged again.

Yeah, TWRP should flash anything CWM should. Just be aware that BACKUPS made with one will not work on the other.

Just ordered delivery from a thai restaurant in houston. Holy crap, it was AMAZING. Right up there with my favorite curry at a Cambodian restaurant in providence. Superb. Now I can go to sleep for a mad early wake up to catch a plane.
