All the things you just said do not apply to this situation though. I have a garage, no crackheads pissing in cars reported in my area, don't need parking change in my city. Thus I still want to kick him in the nads for locking MY door for no reason. Having lived in this area for a long time it is basic knowledge that you do not do that in s*** cold weather. Not that big of a deal just annoying first thing in the morning. Next time he will scrape his car and avoid the nut shot that will ensue. :dblthumb:

It is nice. I believe I would move if I had to worry about a crackhead pissing in my car. I like my house and my neighborhood which is why I bought instead of renting.

I lock my Trans Am, but not my Miata and rarely the Subaru.
Though, someone did go through the Subaru this week which was weird, since I live in the woods. Anyway, there isn't much in it; a snow shovel, jumper cables, a dollar in change and a Garth Brooks cd.

Whatever they wanted, they didn't get but instead dropped a nearly full pack of Marlboro Reds between my drivers seat and the door. WHOOPS! Guess I made out on the deal. Gave 'em to my land lady.

The only thing I have had stolen from a car at my house in like 7 years is an ipod and a few bucks in change. I know exactly who it was, some skeezy neighbor lady down the streets kid. I didn't say anything because you will never win with people like that. I may have got an ipod back but my car would have gotten keyed the next day.

I think I could go to bed and sleep till I'm not sick anymore. My sinuses have so much pressure I'm actually dizzy.

Have you tried the trick of holding your head over a pot of steaming water with a towel over your head? Usually works pretty well.

Ask for good old pseudoephedrine from the behind the counter at almost any pharmacy. It's the only s*** that really ever works for me.

pseudophedrine is crap. Save yourself the drugs and use the neti pot instead. vaso dilators only dehydrate you. drink a whole bunch of water.

So does Motrin, Tylenol and thousands of other OTC meds. Everybody reacts differently to meds. The odds of it putting you in the hospital if you take it correctly are millions to 1.

I did a variation on the boiling pot of water. I just cranked the shower really hot and breathed steam in for 30 minutes. It worked until I left. Right back to terrible-ness.

Pseudoephedrine is good stuff for sinuses and congestion. It definitely dehydrates, but it does the job. Just drink a lot. I HATE that I have to show my ID to buy the stuff. So tedious.

I actually had hallucinations from the stuff once back in high school. I was SUPER skinny and about ten inches shorter than I am now, with a crazy metabolism and hadn't eaten for awhile. I took some DayQuil (back when it had real sudafed in it) and probably should only have taken one. I got to my physics class, sat down, and the class began filling up around me. The professor was at the front of the class teaching, and spouting gibberish (I recall him saying "square bunnies" but the rest of it was nonsense). One of the other students came in and slammed his briefcase (briefcases were "a thing" at the time amongst a certain group) down on the desk next to me. I awoke from my stupor to find the classroom empty except two other people, and the professor over in his office, not in front of the class teaching.

After that, I was REALLY, REALLY careful about taking dayquil or sudafed. Sudafed still makes me feel a little weird (harder to focus) but it's worth it when I'm feeling miserably sick.

I just used some nose spray crap and I feel a billion times better.

Also, guess who's going to the Food City 500 and sitting in the second row on the front straight? This guy.

I use Afrin spray to keep my sinuses open and help keep drainage to a minimum. Does well as long as you don't use if for more than a few days.

Same here. I always end up staying up too late, then can't go to sleep, especially on the nights that Kristen is home. There's a handful of reasons why it's my own fault, but it still gets old. I guess I need to start taking my sleeping pills again and quit waiting until right before bed to do everything.

Ray, you need to end up somewhere close to Kentucky so we can meet up.

I'd like just one Saturday that I could sleep until like 10am. The kid comes busting in at 8am on the weekends and usually doesn't want to lay in bed with us and go back to sleep. Heck, if I could even sleep until 9am i'd be happy. I average about 6 hrs sleep during the week, but sometimes it's 5 hrs. On the weekends, I rarely get to sleep over 7 hrs. It's extremely lame.
