Morning all.

Stalker....:squint:

What a f*cking amazing game last night against the Packs. So funny too, because Faizan called the hell out of it in the thread. Bears victory, but Rogers had a fantastic game (don't think he threw for 500 yards, though).

I think he threw for something like 325 or so. Could've had better fantasy stats (he was probably about average). Though he looked good, the numbers on paper didn't entirely reflect that. I did, however, enjoy the hell outta that game.

I am not happy about this second decision to forego an easy 3 points for a denied red-zone TD. I'm not sure if that was Lovie's decision or Martz's, but the only thing worse than one bad decision is more than one bad decision.

Seriously. And what makes it even more crippling is that they will now most likely be less inclined to go for it on fourth and goal at the goal line in the future, considering they're 0-2 so far on that this year. And if they do go for it, I would think there would be some confidence issues from everyone on the field, which is not a good way to play any sport.

My cousin and his wife had the same issue. I guess they use the same formula for their twins. They were equally displeased.

I knew this day was coming, but I had always hoped I would be wrong... Anyone who actually buys this complete piece of crap does not deserve any of the money they have, or have ever had for that matter.

O sweet Jesus...

I'm going to open a BOSE store...and then I'm going to tell everyone that comes in to not buy anything in thte store and go somewhere else to buy a better product for 1/3 of the cost.

Either that, or I'm going to bring in an Aiwa boombox to a Bose store to show everyone that it sounds just as good.

Eff that. I'd love to own a bose store. Can you even imagine what the profit margins are like? I'm guessing we're looking at roughly a $1200 tv (I'm being generous) with about $300 worth of audio components built in. Even if you take out $1k per tv for marketing (which I don't think is much of a stretch) and maybe a little for R&D, you've still got like $2k worth of profits to divide up everywhere.

How are people that stupid to fall for these marketing gimmicks? So, the speakers that are in front of me will sound like they are behind me? Why not try to convince them that you're installing invisible speakers back there? There both equally dumb theories in my mind. Schools need to get better about teaching physics...

Same old, Faiz. What's poppin' with you?

Hey Lou, how do you think they'll market that tv? Cause the only reason their speakers sold so well (IMO) was that they had a display specifically designed from them that made them stand out from the other speaker offerings at big box stores.

And as I was typing, I realized that this will only be sold in Bose stores (according to the article). F*cking clever on their part. Without an alternate tv right next to it, it will be hard to do a legit comparison. Damn, that's brilliant. If only they could put as much effort into technology as they do marketing.

I was just going to say...there's no way this TV is being placed in an open environment...it's going to have it;s own special room for demoing and everything, to make it sound "awesome" where it is. Not to mention they'll pay off some ISF calibrator to come and set up the picture just perfect for the area.

I also wonder if they'll release any specs on the tv. They're notorious for withholding that when it comes to speakers, but with how numbers-driven tvs have become (I hate being asked about 60/120/240 Hz, contrast ratios, etc) I would think that these questions will come up far more frequently than they normally do with speakers (the only one I can think of on speakers is my favorite "how man watts does it have?").

Hahaha that's a favorite of mine...watts on a speaker. I had someone ask me once about that...I told someone to get a DT ProCinema 600 or something, which are rated up to 150 watts per speaker, and their receiver was only 80 watts per speaker...guy asked me if it would work, considering the receiver didn't match up and wasn't powerful enough...

I still don't know how people can buy stuff without understanding it...
