warning this is not a flame thread
Reading through the last page of my other thread that is now closed, it is apparent some of you dont understand. I posted the email because it was threatening and insulting, and figured showing it would make him stop sending them. It worked by the way. If sending a hatefull email full of vulgarities and insults is nicos idea of "being a bigger person" im disgusted with nico. Anyone who sends me nasty email will find it posted. nuff said, dont send hate mail. If you want to work something out send me something along those lines. I really dont see how i am that out of line...any mods comments are welcome as to how to handle these situations...

I don't see how closing the thread would make you think that nico supports vulgar emails. We don't support bashin at all and that is why it was closed. I even expect this thread to eventually be closed as it's a rule not to reopen another thread about the same thing when the original was locked. If you wanted the matter dealt with you should have contacted a moderator or admin 'privately' and they would have handled the situation.
this actually is on a different subject from the last thread...there were numerous posts from people in the last thread saying that i should not have posted the email and delt with him privately, my whole point being that i dont want to deal with someone like that through hate mail.
And i dont really want a mod to "handle it", i am just asking what is the proper way to deal with email such as that. It was my thinking that posting it would discourage people, but apparently not? Im asking what the proper course of action should be if posting it is "wrong"...

Well, it was me that closed that thread. Like Mayhem said, NICO does not support nasty email, but airing personal problems on the boards clogs up the works for the rest of us. No one here wants to read about other member's pissing contests.
If someone sends you a nasty email, block them from sending another one. Tell them to get bent or just don't respond. That's why there is a "delete" button. The button works.
