Ive been searching everywhere for legit info on these wheels. Every website i go to has different info. My new issue of Modified has an ad for the Konig Candys, and it says they come in 15" and 16". So far all ive found is 15".

Im looking to get 16" Konig Candys in Gold, with a 30mm or lower offset if they even make them like that.

I drive a 92 S13 Coupe, 4 lug of course. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Haha! Another Work/SSR knockoff... Might as well get Rota D2's if you're looking to be a cheapskate...

What gets me is that there are so many wheels that look identical (knockoffs) or even just similar to an original that it leads one to believe there is very little creativity left in the wheel world. The likes of the ever so prominent cookie-cutter syndrome in the automotive design kingdom.

The more I look at wheels online, the more I realize they are all mostly knockoffs.

Im not looking at the Konigs just because there cheap. I just like that style, im painting my car a Pearl White color and I want a gold wheel to go with it. While I was skimming through Modified I found the Candy's and the XXR 522's. But so far the wheels I want seem to never come in the dimensions i want. Any input on wheels similar to the 522's or the Candys would be great.

Thanks guys

like stated before SSR and work both makes wheels just like those that come in better offsets and widths not that 7.5inch wide bull s***.

1) Did you do what I told you to do and look at Rota D2's? 17x8.5+202) What width wheel are you looking for? I think you're about to make a bad choice with these wheels anyways.3) XXR 522 in the small sizes like 16's look disgusting, IMO: zer...529424) Instead of the XXR 522's, I'd suggest the 16x8 Rota Grids...

Hey man, thanks alot for the pictures of the 522's. Gonna cross those ones off the list. They look terrible with those spokes sticking so far out. And yes, I am leaning towards the Rota D2s, but I like the Grids as well. So as of right now I am trying to decide between those two, until of course something else catches my eye. But I like the fact that the D2s come in 17s with the +20 offset, all the wheels that ive found lately, that have been 4 lug only came in 16s :/

Any reliable places I can purchase these wheels from? I dont wanna just order them from the first website I come across.

Thanks

well s*** if you wanna go 5 lug y not just go 5 lug and get some z wheels for now and then start the search for real wheels. the reason i say this is mainly for the fact you will have a better choice in wheels and offsets and wont be so limited to a selected few wheels with good offsets.

Yea true, I mean I could but I dont think im going to. Im really liking the Rota D2's so as soon as I get a few more paychecks in the back those will be the ones. Or the Grids.....

OP, I'm just wondering what you're gonna be using these wheels for... Cause the Grids come in vastly superior sizes than the D2's. Do you need to only use a certain size for auto-x or something?

Here's the cheapest place online to buy Rota's that I know of: http://18racing.com/wheels.html

But we do have a NICO vendor that sells Rotas. He may be able to get you a good deal as well. You should also ask your local Discount Tire.

I am going to use my car for weekend autocross events and daily driving in the summer. So really im looking for a nice fitting wheel, I dont want them to be sunk. So from what ive seen I think i should be fine with a 17s with a +20mm offset front and rear. I do have coilovers along with RUCAs. So i wont be sitting 4x4 status
