What do you mean? Out of the half million plus people in the Knoxville metro area, at least 40 of them sit in the old K-Mart parking lot, lol. Yes, I used to live there...

On a serious (and much less depressing) note, if you are up for some driving (around 35 miles East of Knoxville) there is a weekly cruise-in @ Morristown that often nets 500 cars. Also, they also have "Fouth Friday Music Fest and Cruise-In" monthly where they shut down main street in the old part of town for a car show, free rock concert, etc. (parking for cars in the show is kinda limited however).

Even better however is the one they do in Elizabethton where they shut off the downtown area every Saturday evening, have music, vendors, etc. But it would be a pretty big drive from K'town, but would give everyone an excuse to drive the Snake, which is about 15 minutes from downtown E'ton, and you will pass right by Thunder Valley (the drag track seen on Pinks).

Ripper101 we have a small car group her in Knoxville where we meet and usually take a ride or both at least once a month. Our next ride is Sept. 20 and an Eat and greet some time this month as well. Check out the link below if interested.

Which mountains you plan to go to? If you are talking about sitting behind an endless line of 20mph cars around Gatlinburg or other "leaf looker" location...no thanks. But if you want to drive something like the Triangle or an original route...let us know what you have in mind. Keep in mind that any back route near I40 is a mess right now too, due to the rockslide, so that rules out nice drives toward Asheville too.

Saturday the 28th of Nov. Sportscarfrenzy.com will have a group doing the Dragon and the loop if you are interested. Traffic this time of year is mostly at a minimum.

Any of you guys interested in rolling coupe shell? With a locked motor? Get at me [email protected]. I used tov live in knoxville for a bit. If you guys ever saw a turbo'd black hatch...it was probably me. Anyways. I left my coupe out there and wanna sell it....700 bux or so. Email me.oh and this coupe is located on magnolia across the street from the Zoo.

hey knoxville guys.. im not in knoxville, im actually up in Ft. Knox, but you guys seem to be the closest group of guys to me. if you guys get some meets goin or what not on the weekends, im sure i can come down to some now and then. on my way home to SC i would pass through anyways, so yea. I'm stationed up here.. so when the army isnt layin down the d!ck on me, i'd love to meet up and find out where the shops are.. etc.

I hope your not serious?!?! Indy, Louisville, and Nashville are way closer and way huge compared to Knoxville. But on a plus Knoxville is just that nice of a town.

+ 1 from maryville woot. Actually plan on getting a few nissan heads together this SUNDAY (11-22-09) for a lil 129 dragon run, weather permitting ofcourse. Looks like Ive got 3-4 people for sure right now, I will post the exact time and place to meet soon. Pipe in if your interested!!
