Yep, does feel better. Haven't driven much yet, but get a much smoother response at highway speeds, esp. at high rpms. The knock sensors were not bad but they were definitely corroded and the cables were all dried out.
Replaced spark plugs and hoses too..... the coolant hose which was bulging looked fine, the rubber was plenty soft. I don't think it would have broken anytime soon. The fuel hoses were leaking so I'm glad I don't have to smell fuel all winter long. The old spark plugs looked pretty good.
My wallet is $1600 lighter... still cheaper than car payments!
