Ok me and my friend we toor apart the ka b/c of a striped bolt were the timing gear goes into so we could send it into a shop..but now that i have it all torn apart ..and got all the new gaskets and head studs to put it together..im kinda worried about the cams..dont they need to be adjusted or anything..just help me out guys...just a kid doing a mans job..lol...and what else should i do?

I am actually in the same situation. The bolt that goes through the timing gear stripped the thread out of the block and had to have it machined with a different thread pattern and bolt but that was only because the shop it was at, was ran by idiots. Regardless, the cam timing will need to be set again. Turn your motor over to TDC (Top dead center) and then you will set your cam timing after you have reached TDC.

Ohh yeah...Torque the cams down enough. Make sure of it. I snapped my exhaust cam about 1/4" after the cam gear. That's the only thing delaying my car from running. Hope I helped even if it was just a little.
