Definately can't go wrong with either one. For me it would be the ac because where I'm from it's rare and I always get asked why kind of car it is. Most people who know a bit about cars know what a 350z is cuz they are fairly common.

I would have to agree with everyone here. I get a lot of questions asking me what kind of car it is... I love seeing people's faces when I say its a 3.5 Altima Coupe. and they're like what?...

But like audtatious said,..

i sold my 350z for the AC

the 350z is exactly the same..i love the AC better cuz.. like everyone else said.. no one knows what it is and everyone keeps asking ( which feels aweseome ) i have my de-badged and everyone compliments and stares at it.. no one looks at 350z's anymore.

also the backseats are great, u dont realize how useful they are until u dont have any...and the 350z is less comfortable.. interior wise i liked the 350z better and ill actually admit the i like how they look better to, but i love my AC right now and wouldnt trade it back.

Ditto. I traded in my 350z for the AC also, haha. My reason was more for being able to drive the car during the winter, but now that I have the AC, I totally agree with all the points you made (except for the part that no one pays attention to Z's. Here there are more AC's (like 3) around there than Z's (like 1), lol). I also like the fact that people aren't that familiar with it, and with the mods I have, my AC is definitely faster than my Z was (even with the CVT in the AC vs the 6 speed manual I had in the Z). If I lived in a warmer climate, and wasn't worried about taking another hit trading in a car yet again, I'd seriously consider the 370Z.. but for where I am now, the AC is perfect for me, and I absolutely love it.

The reasons I go w/ the A/C is that it has 4 seats and low insurance cost when compare w/ Z.

If you're going to go the Z route, get the 370, it looks way more sexy in my opinion. But I choose the a/c over the Z for cost and it has a backseat.

A/C all the way, to what everyone else is saying. I love the rarity fact, even here in Canada 350zs, G35s ect... are all played out, the A/C...no way. Its a nice car, it has 4 seats, good insurance, its faster, and the most important thing, its rare. A lot more will be coming out, s*** theres more than one thing new every week for it.

IMO KEEP THE A/C

Like a few others, I traded my 2005 35th 350Z in for my A/C. But unlike other posts, I have to say the Z was faster, and I prefer the RWD feeling. But I needed a back seat after a couple of years, and I do like the coupe, too. It is a bit more comfortable ride. Oh and I traded black for Precision Gray. Dirt is very hard to notice on the coupe, but I was always cleaning the Z. Still, black is a cool color if you have the time. You need to weigh all of what's been said so far and do what YOU like... I'd say get a new 370Z if you can afford it, because if you can, you can probabaly afford to change it in a couple of years if you decide you'd like something else.

yea i made my decision.....if I can come across a Z that I can trade my car in for without having to pay extra then Ill get the Z. If not, then Ill jus go ahead with my plans for the coupe and go with the custom wide body style and stuff I had planned out. I thought it would be cheaper if I were to get the Z because I wouldnt have to pay extra for all the custom parts that I need for the altima. At the same time Im trying to purchase my own home so we'll see how it goes financially.

If I lived in Hawaii, I'd go with a convertible 350Z in a NY minute.

Academiks,

you live in Hawaii, so winter driving isn't an issue...

the Z is legendary.. whether is a 280, 300, 350, I don't think a Z can ever really be played out.. (G35 is another stroy, its like the semi luxury brother of the Z with less power, and no comparable history to speak of... and yes I'm familiar with the earlier G20's with the SR@)DE motor, but tose were hardly performance cars) .. but I digress...

the Z is more mod-able, the auto can be boosted with no problems ( even if it is a 5AT ), and on wet/dry roads with no snow, I'm sure it handles like a champ in the twisties... IMO, all positives over the A/C...

don't get me wrong, the A/C is nice, and IMO is sexier than the 350Z, G35, and G37 (again my opinion, but only after a drop), but it has its limitations... especially the CVT...

but in the end, I def say keep the A/C ... buy the house, save up some cheese.. and later down the line, get the 370Z if you feel so moved... move forward my friend, not backward!
