Okay so I have noticed that the range of my key fob is very limited, I seriously have to be within like 20 feet or so otherwise it won't register that I hit a button on my fob even tho I just replaced the battery.

Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? I know some cars have a range of like 200 ft. and that would be really nice to have better range on my fob.

That sounds very limited distance-wise, assuming there is little interference where you park. I would guess mine works from about 30-40 yards out in a filled outdoor parking lot.

Quick free fix would be to hold the fob to your chin and press the button.

No problems in range with mine also. Even when the battery is registering low. But if you need to extend the range, touch the key fob to under your chin and raise your arm. Your arm become one big antennae and hit the button. I know it sounds stupid but it works. My wife almost peed her pants laughing when i showed that trick to her in a parking garage in vegas We couldn't find the car at first but after i did the "trick" all you heard was the "beep beep"

I have the same problem, but only with the "windows down" function of the fob. When I get off of work I like to roll down the windows as I'm walking to my car in the parking lot so it won't be as stuffy when I get in. I can hit the unlock button from about 50 yards away, but when I hold down the button to get the windows to come down I find that I'm not in range. Add in the fact that I'm walking towards my car while doing this (and trying to get the windows to roll down for a second and third time!) so what usually happens is that I end up standing right next to my driver side door before the windows start to go down, which TOTALLY defeats the purpose of me wanting to air my car out....

It's sort of like when you're vacuuming and the vacuum isn't picking something up off of the carpet, so you keep running it over and it STILL doesn't get sucked up, so you physically bend over, pick the item up, examine it, then throw it BACK on the carpet and try to get the vacuum to suck it up again! (why didn't you just throw the item away when you picked it up???)
