This is my 3rd convertable. All had leather seats and created a sweaty back. This is the only one I've owned with cooled seats. They work so well ....and yes I can have leather and not have swamp back. I must admit this is one of the best features on the car.

The convertible has a staggered tire setup (wider in back) and the coupe does not. Don't ask me why. Anybody know? I know that there's a revised rear suspension geometry to fit the hardtop in.

That probably explains the rear track difference.

The Coupe DOES have a staggered setup, just not on the 18 inch wheel model. The Convertible has it for looks, extra load, and the track is wider due to rear suspension redesign for the RHT system.

Got it. The Convertible is the only one with staggered 18" wheels/tires but the Coupe offers staggered 19" wheels. If it's possible, I may well un-stagger (either go wider up front or narrower in back) just to open up tire rotation options.

Difference in gear ratios yield the following in the Vert 6MT:3000 RPM = 77MPH in the Vert80 MPH = 3250 RPM in the Vert. I believe the coupe is 3000 RPM @ 80 MPH

the spare tire kit is actually an option that we must order from the factory for $595.

We ordered a few and then the factory limited dealers b/c of availability.

the convertible w/ the top up has more trunk space than the coupe.

i drove both obviously and you do feel the difference in weight from the vert but the drop top experience is one of the best on the market in its category for power and comfort.

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum, It is 9-22-2017, I just bought a used 2010 vert. sport coupe and am going to pick it up tonight.
I saw in an earlier post that the vert doesn't have a spare tire, but some sort of aftermarket spare compartment was avail from dealers. Where would this compartment be located? I still have my 03 sport coupe and am just upgrading. Would the space saver tire from the older 03 coupe fit the 2010 coupe and would the compartment on the 2010 coupe (if it has one) hold this spare? And you all were right, The stagard tires are on all coupes. I may swap the nice staggard set from my older coupe to my newer coupe. BTW, I had to wait this many yeard to be able to afford the 2010 vert. and I got this one for $18000 with only 56K miles. Woo Hoo.

Thanks for any help with the answers to my Q's.
