Why doesn't it matter i thought that you had to have the MT one if it was MT like mine is I am trying to sell my white 300zx right now and this guy is giving me a bunch of parts for my s13 and the dual cam motor plus cash. I def want the harness if i get the motor from him. I have all the other stuff. Question tho. Wich gauge cluster would i use then? The single cam or dual cam. I'd rather use my single cam b/c it looks like this...

the harness is complete im asking 110 + shipping because it already has the SOHC gauge cluster pigtail soldered on there with the DOHC pigtail on there still aswell on the side the numper 2 injector clip is broken but still click in perfectly

u have to change ur cluster...

sorry but its the only way ur gauges will work...

and to remove it is simple when u get to it ill explain for yah...and if u are changing cluster may i suggest a quick and cool lil mod http://www.s-chassis.com/forum...40228 i did it lol

the difference between the ecu's is that the AT ecu DOESNT have a speed limiter...so its actually better...because if u want to go beyond the 110 speedo limit....u can with AT ecu...cant with MY

ohh i found the ign coil and starter module on the braket....

50 + shipping its urs...its a great price considering its 90+ for new coil and 100+ for starter modue...

um kinda looks like...looks like there SOHC ign set ups...take a pic of the other side and the numbers on the side and the number on the top mudule for me if u can...than i can confirm...the pic and angles are to dark and i can really tell u yay or nay...

the igniotion coil should have this code 22433 53F00 and the starter module should have PRW-1 0505

Hey man im gonna try to solder these wires togather but i dont know which plug to do. i have this plug that the colors match on

the plug on the right is the dohc and the one on the left is the sohc.

then i have these plugs that the colors dont match on. and the plugs are different. the one on the right is the sohc and the one on the left is the dohc.

so do i splice and solder these or what????

u only solder the ones that match gimme couple minutes and ill figures out whitch wires to connect and whitch to leave alone i dont know what the second piture is though..... where does that second pic connect too

K what about the bottom pic. the plugs dont match the one on the body harness so i have to splice and solder some of them. but then some of the wires do and dont match. i just soldered the top pic that worked out ok. i soldered yellow-redyellow-greenorangeblackblue-black.

Wiring:1. Locate the body harness (under dash harness that attached to the ECU) that attached to your old harness. Cut the old connector off (the one that attached to your SOHC harness) and attach your DOHC body harness connector. Just match the colors!Yellow/Red --TachYellow/Green--SpeedometorOrange--Ignition startBlack---GroundBlue/Black---Water temp sensor

not sure wtf it is but thats a pic of around the area where the ecu plugs in. its by the heater box thing. i have no idea. i just hope i dont have to solder that **** in there... the wires dont quite match so idk

well that white plug looks like the cluster plug...all u have to do solder the whiteplug from ur single cam harness o were ur dohc tail is nothing more

when i said tail i was reffering to the pigtail connection for ur cluster

ok u know how when u pass the harnes in thru ur fire will there only 2 connections...the one for the ecu and the one for the cluster...

the connectiong to the dohc cluster harness is brown...like the one u showed on ur previous pic... and the one for ur sohc is white... like the one in he other pic...u have to cut ur brown connecter off the dohc harness and solder the white plug onto that section

Ya bro i have verizon. i did cut off the brown and soldered on the white. so were good on that. i just dont know wtf that other white connector before the blue ecu connector is for? so ya give me your number or give me a call around 4 your time. i should pick up. thanks bro

Ya the same pic with the blue wire. the white plug in there wont plug into my under the dash harness. so do i need to solder the plug off of my sohc harness onto my dohc or what. i can take another pic if you want me to. yea i still need that coil and module. call me at 4 your time today so we can talk. im in school right now lol so yeah my teacher is gonna get mad. god she is a bit** lolpeace bro

and on the harness can u see the same colors?

if so....those are the ONLY WIRES U NEED TO CONNECT TOGETHER TO MAKE UR CLUSTER WORKS...all the other wires on ur harness and pigtail dont worry bout them...electrical tap the tips and ur done son

Re-pin the SOHC wires into the DOHC connector. I have an SOHC interior harness that I had to re-pin to work in my 92' coupe. I can take pictures of it if needed.

Another thing...If you still need the S13 ECU let me know. I have got the transmission computer and ECU up for sale
