my car doesnt like me, so it decided to convince the injectors to start leaking, timing chain rattle to get a lot worse, and my brakes die one day, new master cylinder & rotors and pads required....all within a week....a friend of mine is a tech at a local nissan dealer, and is gonna swap in a junkyard ka24e for cheap. any tips or anything that should be known prior to the start? he's done engine swaps before, but a bigfoot special isn't quite a 240sx.

So the junkyard who had a 110k for 500 said that engine had missing parts. The lady found another for me with 29000 miles on it. this one is 750, and should be in great condition. i have to go put a downpayment on it so she can get the car shipped to their yard, and then its mine. friend said maybe 2 weeks before he'd be able to get it done for me, so i'm without my car for even longer :( Think im gettin it towed to another shopo to get the master cylinder and pads and rotors put on, then gettin it back here till my fried can trailer it to his place to do the work. god i need more $

That is quite unfortunate. but 29k seems fair enough. Another bad thing is my friend said he doesnt feel like swapping in a 5spd transmisison, so im stuck with auto now. really wish he would tho.
