Hey guys, its been a while but the manifold is made! (i made it myself and it turned out nice) and the turbo is on (T3/T4 60trim) and the front mount and exhaust are on. The 550cc injectors are hooked up the the S-AFC is in the mail on its way. Now im looking at a motor build this winter and am looking for an aggressive cam. I dont want something not streetable. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks muchTS240

colt cams/pdm racing has several cams...i used the full race cam for several years...503 lift and 300 duration...

used it for a month or so with the turbo....does not work well...had alot of blow thru....

Shadbolt Cams in canada makes a cam specifically for turbo KA24E's. It has the same specs as the PDM stage II but has more lobe separation.

It's a re-grind. Only about $200 too. Go to their website, find their # and give them a call. Very, very nice people to deal with.

the reason i dont want a regrind is because the welds they make tend to fall off the cam and into the motor.

Just get a blank billet and have them grind that. Courtesy Nissan sells them i'm sure.

So do you guys think that a colt cams/pdm racing stage II on would work good with a turbo, since it is similar with the shalbolt one? Also I know this is off topic, but while we are talking about sohc's I have heard that the ring lands go bad on them under boost. Is ther truth behind this? AT what psi do they give? And what do you have to to correct the problems, new pistons??? thanks

considering how old your KA is and how crappy the pistons are, especially for turbo use, I'd say a set of lower compression forged units with new rings would be in order...

as for cams, I'm interested too, I'm tired of jdm crap I wanna turbo my 24e.
