Ka24DE timing cover brok lip....?

Hey guys so i was replacing my timing chain guide and lower front cover i had a spare lower timing cover but the lip is broke and i dont know how serious it is

it broke right before the bolt hole and theres not a hole so my question is..............is it serious? and if so can i fix it

I wouldn't chance the oil leak. I didn't fallow a torque sequence and cracked my second oil pan and I had it machined /welded and was fine.
