KA24DE Timing Chain Issue

Hello guys and gals, I'm having a problem with my 94 ka24de and the problem is that i get this noise coming from the valve cover, i recently found out it is coming from the timing chain so i've searched for solutions throughout the forum and found out that the "guide" from the timing chain can be the problem why i get these noises. so as i read the DIY guide removal and as soon as i removed the valve cover i saw that the top guide has been removed so i was like?i also noticed that the inside of the valve cover had shaved parts where the timing chain is positioned also the timing chain seemed a bit loose but im not sure if it suppose to be that way. ok so the only thing that has come to my head is that it's maybe because the tesioner is busted, do i need a timing chain replacement kit? if anyone please help me where i can find a recomended place for a replacement kit or if there is any other solution, oh btw please forgive me if the post is on the wrong thread im new to the forums so im trying to get used to the place.

Have you ever done this type of work before? If not, I would suggest either letting someone else do it or getting someone to lend you a hand who has done it before because if you screw it up, you could cause serious damage to your motor.

Right, i never replaced timing chains so im gonna leave to a auto mechanic specialist. i need help if anyone knows a recomended place to purchase a replacement kit because there are some kits that are knock offs.
