so heres my story guys. car is 1990 s13 with s14 ka24de. i lined up the dizzy the way everyone says with the rotor and cap at 10 'oclock. of course i did this at tdc. i pulled plug on cylinder 1 and put a dowel rod inside and turned the crank till it was at its highest, with this being done i look at the pulley and the markings for tdc are no where close. could my timing be way off??? how can i tell if my timing is set correct???

car wont start right now either i puller the coil that runs from the ignition coil to the distributer cap and place it on the strut and when i crank it it as no spark. shld i replace the ignition coil?
