Im looking at buying a s14 pretty sure its a '96 with 114k miles on the stock KA. I am going to school in Pennsylvania in 3 months and i live in orlando and was wondering the durability of the motor and if it could make the 1200 mile drive and last me up there til I drive back and start planning swaps. Any feedback?

ha is that a serious question? 114k is nothing for nissans man. ...ive put a good 25k miles + on my Ka and ive done nothing but pure beat the s**t outta it ....so yes it should be fine for the trip....just keep up on maintenance and ur good to go....how much they askin?

3300 with the auto and 3800 with a manual swap what should i do?

check the condition of the motor... low miles yes...but...it doesnt mean **** if the owner neglects it..I.E. running 6k miles on 3k oil...radiator is bone dry and its run that way

its the ll things u know... any rattle comming from the engine itself...

timing chain issue possibly

try doing and air leak test and compression test b4 u buy and post up results here if u could...

Will do its a shop in tampa ed XAT checkout there web site it has the car on there. They are doing a custom swap on my buddys 350z that has never been done before and doing a great job so they can be trusted but I'm still not taking any chances. They are a drifting shop so ill ask about the motor being bounced off the rev limiter and other hell that's been brought upon it. Ill keep u updated tho.

Any input about keeping it auto or doint the 5 speed swap?
