Well - I've finally gotten my car back on the road. I replaced all belts, rear rotors, bearings, and pads, along with the battery.

And I still am having the same issue as before. The battery will not charge, or alternator do its duty.

Now before I get under the vehicle to take out the alternator to get it re-conditioned, I wanted to run it by you all on what else it could possibly be.

I checked the fuse (as which I THOUGHT was the fuse, it stated it was ALT S) and it looked fine, but just in case, swapped it with my A/C fuse which is also a 7.5.

Still waiting on the battery to charge - I guess next would be to check over with a volt/ohm meter, but I'm not entirely sure where I need to be checking. Just on the battery? To see if it builds a charge at X rpm?

Or somewhere on the alternator?

Also have an issue with the horn - after my little fender bender (nothing major) my air bag light came on and now flashes and horn doesn't work. Checked the fuse, It looked fine - think the horn is just played out - I believe it is still OE horn.

P.S.

Just went out to the car and looked under the hood and noticed postive post terminal connector is a bit loose on the terminal. Could this be an issue.

Even though it IS loose - when battery is charged (by charger) the engine is able to crank.

But maybe mad connection to battery for alternator to do its deal?

check voltage in system on idle and when engine is shut off. maybe you have a minor electrical "leak".

What could be considered a "leak"?
