ka24 sohc to dohc wiring

ok so my car is a 1990 s13 hb, swapped the ka24e for the de, its the s14 ka24de with the 3 bolts on the back of the valvecover. im using all s14 parts in the swap so ecu and harness are s14. i know the basics of the wiring i need to do from researching, just splice the 5 color coded wires i need from the harness into the s13's dash harness connector. only question is i dont know where to start. here are some pics of what im working with...

Seems straight fwd to me, just match the S14 FSM wiring diagram to the S13 one for the dash.

so like where i do start connecting wires, is just the ones hanging from the top connected to the ones hanging from the bottom?

Did you locate the dash harness plug?
Its where the wires coming up from the ecu go to. You need to unplug that and swap over your new harness to the old connector.

Is this an obd1 or obd2 engine?
