I guess this is the right place to post this....

I have a California model RMS13 5spd. I removed the speed limiter and now the ecu keeps throwing code 14 ("speed sensor circuit"). I'm looking for a non-Cali ecu try to get rid of that code. Will any s13 DOHC 5spd ecu work for me? I've seen various ecu part #'s but have no idea what they mean.

Btw, does anyone have a list of different KA ecu's and their differences (if the differences matter at all)

plz help out. Thanks.

you can use an auto ecu since it doesnt have the speed limiter.

Check-out the website for jim wolf technology http://jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/ECU-ID.PDF

I'm still trying to learn the differences and what matters, but this should give you more info.
